A day with Auntie Kim & Uncle Mike

Last Thursday Mike and I were lucky enough to have a few hours with our niece. One of "our holiday's" is Halloween, Mike loves to get all decked out, he takes it very seriously with his Halloween music and huge tacky pumpkins decorating the exterior of the house... and now that Serena is old enough to really get it, we were able to take her without Mommy to the pumpkin patch then back to our house for plenty of activities!

We first stopped at Ives Farm in Cheshire, where we picked out 4 pumpkins, one for Uncle Mike, one for Auntie Kim and of course one big one AND one little one for Serena.

After we found the perfect pumpkins we went into the corn maze which really is pretty cool.

And of course we had a few little photo ops:

After all that was over we came back to our house and began to carve the pumpkins, bake cookies, decorate a haunted gingerbread house and we definitely can't forget the singing and dancing to the Halloween music.
It was really fun for us to have her, and now we can look forward to Halloween and all the years ahead of this fun stuff!
