Anthony & Stephanie's Wedding

July 18th was just the day Anthony and Stephanie hoped for! The beautiful blue skies that we didn't see much at the beginning of the summer, was out just for them! I had a blast working with this group, from Ant and Steph, to the huge bridal party, to the little guy who earned his money getting beers for the big guys, it was an all around great day!

Happy Birthday, Sis

Happy Birthday, Karen... And me :)
Last week, my twin sister, Karen and I celebrated our 29th Birthday! Hard to believe how quickly time flies! We started our celebration on Wednesday, our actual birthday, it continued on Friday with dinner with the whole family. I've been so blessed to have a best friend by my side every day of my life. I'm sure there were times growing up that I didn't like being a twin, but I honestly don't remember them. We have always gotten along, and have ALWAYS been best friends. We went to college together, and after 2 years we ended up rooming together too. After college we lived together, and even now I can honestly say that after 29 years and either seeing or talking to her every day, so is still my very best friend. One more year until the big 3-0... let's make this the best yet!!!

Back from Jamaica

Well we've been back from Jamaica for a few days now and I already want to go away again! Isn't vacationing the best?! We had such a great time, we decided before we left that this was goiong to be a low key, just relax and regroup vacation and that is exactly what we did. I was laying on the beach every morning by 8am, we would go eat lunch at noon, sometimes nap, otherwise just drink at the pool, go eat dinner, hang out, and then go to bed, and start all over the next day. We found it funny how "tired" we were at the end of the day when we literally did NOTHING but lay around all day, it was wonderful!
Here are a few pics of us... I took a lot (shocking I know) but it's so hard to get photos of the 2 of us, so I brought that little flex tripod thing and used it all the time, it was great!
I LOVE this picture of us! Goes to show even a little point and shoot camera can do some really cool things!Well we are back to reality and I pretty much haven't left the computer since our return, so keep an eye out for your photos, things should start appearing soon!

Allison & Benjamin's Wedding

On July 11th, I headed up to Boston to photograph Allison and Benjamin's wedding. The whole days festivities took place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, in Boston, it was beautiful, and Allison's decor was so tastefully done and fitted the place so well. I had the privilege of working with Deb who second shot with me for the day, here are a few of her shots that I loved....
Isn't she a cutie pie?

Hope we didn't bore her too much during the ceremony!
LOOOOOOVE their expressions, great shot Deb
A little moment after the wedding
And here are a few shots that I grabbed... Here is Benjamin, I think he looks so sharp here.
I love the way the flower girl is looking at Allison
I just love this shot, you get a view of the city, yet the antique look, I just love it
Always enjoy a good laugh during the ceremony
... and another. And the happy couple after the they were officially married.
I love the way they cuddled each other, so sweet.
What a beautiful bride and what a great moment. She was off in the distance alone just dancing having fun and I was from afar and caught her mid act, I love it.
Classic and a favorite.
Another great shot of you guys
The first dance love mom and dad in the background over looking their daughter
I am such a sap for father daughter dances, and I just LOVE Alison's expression with her dad here.

I had a blast with you guys from the e-shoot at the park, to of course our 7-11 fun, followed by a beautiful wedding. To see more photos click here. To view all their photos go to client access then click on their photo. Enjoy.

Hyder Family

A couple weeks ago, I photographed this adorable family at Osbourne Museum in Derby, CT. The park was beautiful and was great for the kids to run around, yet there were places that we could also sit and beautiful butterflies to see too!
Love this of the kids!

You just can't beat big squeezes!!!

Hand in hand, so precious!

Mommy looking at the cool stuff!

Great family shot!

Walking through the park

I love this, obviously not because they are all smiles, I just like that they are posing and didn't know it!

I finally got this little guy to do some photos alone, what a cutie!

He was so excited, he actually touched the butterfly!

Thanks Hyders, you were great! Hope you enjoy your photos! To view more check out your photos click here, then on families, then on your photo, or go to the client access to view them all!

Lisa & Don's Engagement Shoot

I met up with Lisa and Don at Eagle's Landing in East Haddam where we started our shoot. A beautiful little park with a perfect setting, overlooking the Goodspeed. From there we went to Gillette's Castle, would you believe after living in CT for over 20 years I've never been there?! It was BEAUTIFUL!!! So many places to shoot, so many neat things, it was awesome!!!
At Eagles Landing
I Love this shot
I love their "moment" just shows you don't need to do much but I love the way they are looking at eachother.
Love all the stonework

I have "known" Don for a long time as his sister, Cara (who's wedding just passed) is like family to us, and I have to say, I had a great time getting to know the two of you in our last few meetings. I can't wait for the wedding! To view more of their photos click here.
