The "C" Family

I love the fall it always brings in lots of family portraits and great new clients, and the "C" family was no exception. The kids were great, so cooperative and adorable. Their property was perfectly landscaped for multiple photo ops! It was wonderful to meet you and so fun to photograph as well! Hope you had fun too!
The kiddo's.
Something about this photo just screams Autumn to me
I love the way the little guys sneaks in a peak back at me, ha!
Beautiful backdrop, beautiful kids
I'm a sucker for big hugs, this might be a little "squishy" but what's not to love?
A little bit of everything

Welcome Baby "D"

A little over a week ago, I was able to document little "D". He is only 2 weeks old, and wasn't sure what to think of his first photoshoot, but he was a trooper and cooperated quite well!
I just love the story of how I met "D". I photographed his parents wedding almost 6 years ago, then photographed the maternity of their first son "L" then, several other sessions of "L" growing up, and now, little "D". I just love when things come around in a full circle and I love having a connection with my clients the way I have developed with so many of you, it makes me love my job that much more, (is that possible?!)
Anyway, without further delay, here is "D"
And big brother "L"
A sleeping baby
He was awake for a little bit during my shoot, but the sleeping baby photos are just adorable! Don't forget to see more of their photos in the slide show, and all of their photos here.

The "H" Family 2009

I've had a blast photographing the "H" family for the last , I think 6 years!!! Every year gets more and more exciting as they add kids to the family and as they get old and can "do more." Even from the start the "H" family wanted excitement in their photos and wanted to capture their family as they are on a normal weekend. This year we went to a beach that is special to them, and although there were no cliffs to jump off of, we found things to climb, and of course we had to add some dangerous stunts by jumping off the dock. I already can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves for next year! Great to see you guys, hope you enjoy the photos!

Jen & John's Engagement Shoot

Last week Jen, John and I went to an awesome private beach in Madison. The water didn't look like it was CT water, the beach was clean, and it was just a perfect spot to photograph these two! I had a great time with you guys and it only makes me look forward to the wedding!
Here are some of my favs:
A classic but a keeperTaking in the view
Another goodie
They just photograph really well together!
A walk on the beach
This is great, see how happy John is, it was full smiles when I told him to lay on Jen's lap, then Jen argued that she is the one that should be laying on HIS lap (seriously how happy is he!)
Love little moments!
sneaking in a little kiss
Oh boy, water fight!!!!!! You see we sort of had to do some water photos, because we came across a friendly dog while we were on the beach, and the dog just so happen to hate the Yankees too... and he PEED on JOHN'S shirt.. just a squirt, so we had to do a little rinse off :)

And of course some making up :)
How cool, they both have the same initials!I hope you guys had as much fun as I did! You can view your Slide Show and to click here to view all your photos. Best of luck with the rest of the planning, can't wait for the big day!
