Sara & Lawrence - October 11, 2008

Sandra had the pleasure of photographing Sara & Lawrence's wedding back in October. It was her last wedding of the season and she just ranted and raved about how wonderful the couple was and how much fun their wedding was, so I'm sorry I missed it but it sounds like you guys had a great time and your photos look like it too. It was so wonderful to see Julie and her daughter "M" in the bridal party! "M" is soooooooooo cute!!!!
The reception took place at 707 on Main which I have never been to but it looks great!

Hope you guys had as much fun as it looks like and hope you enjoy the pics!
Don't forget your slide show!

Megan & Travis' Wedding

On October 17th, Megan and Travis tied the knot. The day started at the Waters Edge in Westbrook where I captured Travis and the guys before they headed off to the ceremony and then headed up to Megan's room to get her ready and do the girls photos. Everything was perfect. The ceremony then took place at St. John's Church in Old Saybrook, which is a beautiful church that I've shot at several times.
After the ceremony we headed back to Waters Edge and down to the beach to capture some great moments with the bridal party and T&M alone.
The reception was a blast, everyone had a great time and the decor was perfect. The band was amazing, they had everyone going all night, and had me singing along to every song... apparently it was quite obvious as the band member came up to me and said how great it was that I was singing a long... oops, hey they were good!

Megan and her dad had a great first dance, I guess the reason I thought it was great was it was to a t what my dad and I did for ours, same song, same dance, and it was just really sweet.
Anyway, enough blabbing, time to check out the photos!

SOOOOOOO busy!

Well I haven't blogged in a while, but I have been super busy getting things out the door!
I don't want to leave anyone out, but due to the business of this time of year this blog will be a blurb of what I've been up to!
First off I had the pleasure of photographing the L family. They are new to KLP and we had a blast. You can check out their slide show here.

Last Tuesday I had a portrait party with NINETEEN CHILDREN... YES 19!!!! It was honestly a blast and great to meet so many new families. The kids were all adorable, and it seems like we got some great shots! Here are some of the cuties:

After that I went to Stratford to photograph another one of my "regulars" the "N" family. They are so cute and great to see them every year developing more of a personality. Take a look at them.

The B Family

This past Sunday I drove to the B's house to photograph the kids again this year.
It really is fun watching to see the changes that they go through and how much or little they change.
'J' took a little time warming up to me at first but once we got him in the room he was great... so adorable... and then once 'M' came they were wonderful together.

She is only 5 but cracks me up with her posing and ideas... she's too much!

I love this of 'J' reading his Christmas book... so cute!

And my favorite of the 2 of them together...

And this is when 'M''s mom was cracking them up! Click to watch their slide show!

Dawn & Michelle tie the knot

On October 4th Sandra photographed Dawn and Michelle as they tied the knot!

The ceremony and the reception took place at the Pavilion on Lake in Middletown.

The event was witnessed by their closest friends and family, followed by photos on the beach and a night full of dancing.

Although I wasn't there it looks like they had an awesome time and Sandra really captured their personalities and the love the share for each other. Don't forget to watch their slide show!
Congrats Dawn & Michelle!

A new Family to KLP

On Sunday while I was down in Fairfield, I had the opportunity to photograph a family that is new to Kimberly Lynn Photography. I had such a blast. The kids were so great, full of energy and so adorable!

'S' is the oldest and loved playing sports with dad. He played football, and basketball, but he also enjoys baseball. He was such a good big brother.

Then there is 'C' who is the middle child, and so cute... running around and wanting to play with everything. I was greeted at my car door as soon as I pulled up the drive by him, he was such a blast.

Then there is 'M' who is right in the mix with her brothers. She is just as speedy and isn't afraid to be on the bottom of the pig pile! We had such a blast and it was so wonderful to meet such a great family. To see more watch the slide show.

The Colucci Family

This past Sunday I went down to Fairfield to photograph this family. It has now become a tradition that we take the holiday photo on their front step so we can see the changes throughout the year.

I started photographing this family in 2002 or 2003 and have had the blessing of doing so every year. It is so awesome to see the kids grow up, and add more of them to the family. I love the way the mom matches their outfits and how well the family coordinates! Watch a lot more on the slide show.
