The Bowman's Holiday Shoot

The end of last week, I went to the Bowman's house and photographed their adorable kids. We
started with the "fall shoot" and then moved into the holiday pictures.

We had such a good time, the kids really were very cooperative and we got some great shots.

After their house we went to their shop, The Pink Petunia and took some photos there.

Don't forget about their slide show!

Simon's Family Photos

I love my job, granted this time of year it becomes very stressful and totally crazy trying to fit in all the portraits etc, but I really do love it all! This past weekend I went back to the Simon's house to photograph them. I have been taking photos of their son for a few years ... how cute is he?

And now they have a new addition, their beautiful daughter! She was so adorable in this outfit too! So cute! Look at all the accessories.

After this dress we did some nudes to create the "body part" collage she was so adorable, all the expression she made cracked me up! Just look at this sweet face!

And of course we had to grab one more outfit and a quick photo with mom and dad. Isn't she wonderful?! Don't forget to watch their slide show!

Cara & Jake's Engagment Pics

When Cara and Jake booked me for their wedding they also knew right away they wanted to do engagement photos and when they told me we were going to Jake's Aunts house in Guilford, I knew it was going to be beautiful... and it was nothing shy of that!!!

When we first arrived I got to meet Jake's wonderful aunt who took us on a tour of her amazing remodeled home. It was awesome. Then she walked us across the street to the beach where we started our shoot. The bright sun didn't help the shoot but we still managed to get some great stuff.

After the beach we took a few at his aunts house and then went to Yacht club to take a few more.

When we get back to the house Jake's aunt invites us back in to enjoy her delicious freshly baked (still warm) chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk. It was wonderful!!!

I have known Cara for years, gosh to many to actually know for sure, and have become great friends with her and have really enjoyed getting to know Jake as well. He is such an awesome guy and I'm so happy to see Cara with someone as great as he is. I know both Sandra and I are looking forward to the wedding!

Hollister Family Portraits

On Autumn day about 5 years ago I drove for about an hour to meet the Hollister family at their house in CT. When I arrived I met Mom, Dad and their son, and we took a bunch of family photos of them.

Every year since then the Hollisters have had me back and they have always been full of new ideas, every year a different location and all within minutes of their house and always within a week of each other that year. I have developed such a great relationship with them and truly look forward to going there each fall and seeing how much the kids have grown and where we will head next.

I think what is so special is since I started photographing them, they added a daughter to the mix, and the kids get a long so great, and the family interaction is awesome. They are always up for anything, whether it is rolling in the leaves, or this year hiking to the waterfall, it's really special to see the way the kids love all the activities and how the parents make this fun for them.
The other really neat thing is they have the infamous "stair case" of photos, and every year they put my photos up their staircase, so every year when I come they show me the photos they had chosen from the previous year and how they arranged them. This year they also started a portfolio book and it was so wonderful to see the progression throughout the years and also see they plan on doing this until their kids are teenagers. It really just goes to show how priceless photos are and how important it is!
So email me or call me today to set up your session!

Thanks guys for another great year, already looking forward to seeing you again next year and see what you have up your sleeve :)

Andrea & Tim's Wedding

On September 20th I had an awesome day photographing Andrea and Tim at their wedding in Stamford. From the moment I stepped into the hotel room to get the girls getting ready I knew it was going to be a fun day. Andrea and Tim are so fun, young and loving couple and it showed all day! Andrea and her girls were awesome and provided lots of laughs all day.

After the ceremony we did the family portraits and then went to Tilly Pond in Darien where we were able to grab lots of cool shots. The bridal party was so accommodating and up for just about anything!

Andrea and Tim were also awesome models and so fun!
And also funny....

These are some of my favorite shots near the pond...After the pictures we went to the Stamford Sheridan where the party began. Everyone had a great time and partied all night. Andrea and Tim... hope you guys had an awesome time in Cabo and CA. Looking forward to hearing all about it!
Oh... and of course... the slide show! Enjoy!

Assunto Family

A few weeks ago I finally got down to the Assunto houshold to photograph their family.

The last time I was there, there were only 2 kids... now I finally got to meet their baby!

John and I met about 5 years ago at a wedding where he was the dj of A&B Entertainment and I of course the photographer, we instantly hit it off and since then I have had the pleasure of meeting his wonderful wife and adorable kids and photographing them on a few occasions. They really have become great friends of ours.

Allison & Benjamin E-Shoot

Last Tuesday I met up with Allison and Benjamin at Elizabeth Park to do their e-shoot. This was the first time I met Benjamin and we hit it off right away, they were so easy to work with and so laid back.
The foliage was great and so was the lighting, and seeing as it was a Tuesday the park was empty so we had full reign of anywhere which was awesome!

We walked around the park stopping at the different locations and then when we thought we were done, I asked Alison and Benjamin what they had in mind for their save the dates... they mentioned that since they were getting married on July 11th they should go to 7-11 and take a picture there,... so I tell them what a great idea, something so different, and we find the nearest 7-11 and shoot away.

It was so funny, and they were so awesome buying and sharing their Slurpee all for the photo. To see more of their photos watch their slide show!

Ali is almost one!

I have photographed Ali several times this past year, and November she turns one! So a few weeks ago, we met again and kinda captured a few occasions in one, we did the holiday shoot, or two and the casual shoot, both of which were adorable.

She has such a personality now and is starting to stand, although a little wobbly on her own, some every day props seemed to help her just fine :)

She looks as though she is posing in so many of these... it's adorable!

I loved the ones with the pumpkins too she is too cute! To see more photos... Click Here
