I'm trying!

I'm giving it my best shot to keep up with this so I figure I'll write 2 days in a row, so maybe it will just come naturally to me :)
This cold weather is really getting to me and I'm more than ready for the warm weather. The truth be told my husband and I just bought one of those 4 door jeep wranglers, and I can't wait for the weather to be nice so the top can come off!!!
I hope some of you were able to escape this cold weather and jet off someplace warm, and if you have, let us know and make us jealous, I know I will be!
As far as updates, I have a few more that I left out. On February 2nd Tina and Josh drove down from Newport, RI just to visit me in the cold, windy CT to do some engagement pics at the Saybrook Point Inn, which is also where their wedding will take place. The photo on top of the blog is them, but here is the slide show.
I also did some early Easter photos for a few of my regular clients... Click here to see some of my children work, the ones on the bottom are the newest :)
Anyway, I think now I'm almost up to date. More to follow with new maternity stuff and more updates!
Tomorrow I'm off to Boston for a little lunch with my girlfriend Kylle and then to the Reggie Lewis Track for the New England Championships...
Have a great weekend!

Slacking Terribly!

So I have a confession that is clear to any of you that come on here... I STINK AT THIS BLOG THING! I decided from day one that I didn't want this blog to be so personal and all about me, and in return I never write, which really defeats the purpose of this... so I'm going to make a better attempt at keeping a little more on top of this! Having said that here's a little update... well since November and my last post! oh boy I'll tell you the short version. November I hosted my first annual thanksgiving dinner at my house, with my family and my in laws, and it was quite a success... hense the first annual... back again next year.
In December I had a few events of which you can check out. Ally's batmitzvah, and Danielle and Dougs wedding at the Saybrook Point Inn, which had some interesting events, most importantly the JP never showing up, thankfully they had a friend there who was qualified! We got some great photos both inside and out.
In January I had a few more batmitzvahs which are always a good time, it's so funny to flash back to that age and feel like a kid again!
I also had an engagement shoot for an upcoming bride and groom, although a cold January day, the weather seemed to cooperate and we got some awesome shots... check out Kristen and Paul here.
I also had quite a few baby shoots all of which are so adorable. I have a new client who has an adorable daughter who was one of the most cooperative babies I have worked with. Check out Danielle and Greg's daughter.
There is another family who is very special to me that I started photographing in the start of my career in 2002. The little boy was the "first" baby that I photographed, and I continue to photograph their family a few times a year. After having 2 boys they finally had a daughter, but that didn't stop us from putting her in the good old yankee uniform... how cute is she?
I also photographed Katies daughter who again was such a jem, and such an amazing personality for a little one!
During all this I still am coaching Track and Field at Cheshire High School, where this year we won our SCC division, and our Housy Division, all which were great accomplishments for my girls!
And to top off the 2007 season, on December 28th I was introducted to my beautiful niece and god daughter. She was 10 lbs. 4 oz 22 inches long, with jet black hair and beautiful huge eyes (still not sure of the color other than REALLY dark) Click here if you'd like to meet her!
And finally, my parents are moving out of the house we grew up in... after 18 years, they are selling and moving on, at the end of this month, 410 Wallingford Rd will no longer belong to us, although bittersweet, along the bumpy road the end of 2007 gave my family I took on a new meaning, and realized that a house is just that, it's what is inside, the laughter, the love, the family and the memories that make a house a home, and it doesn't matter where that house is as long as the ones you love are in that home. I hope this new home is filled with all of that, but more importantly I hope it's filled with many many more amazing memories in all the years to come.
That's all for now... I will keep up though, so let me know if you are even out there reading this or if I'm just doing this for my own well being!
Have a great afternoon!
